About the engine
The Honda GX160 5.5 hp is a widely used small industrial petrol engine and is often applied on spray carts, pressure washers, plate compactors, pumps, etc.
For an empas spray cart (an agricultural or weed sprayer) it applies: The GX160 delivers about 5.5 hp (4.0 kW) at 3600 rpm. The torque is around 10.3 Nm at 2500 rpm. It is a reliable, robust and economical engine that is easy to start (usually with a recoil starter).
In practice this means that the engine has enough power to: Drive a high-pressure pump for a spray cart. Run continuously without overload. Remain compact while still delivering sufficient power.
